Kim and I enjoying our first day of spring break!Today was our official first day of spring break and it couldn't have been any better. Kim and her kids came over to my house so that Don could sleep a little. We then went over to my Grandma Youngs new house in Long Beach. She has recently moved from Palm Desert to Long Beach. It is a great change for all of us because we get to see her more often and Trevor and TT get to know their great grandma. She has a great place with a great view. I thought about asking her if I could move in.
When it was time for naps, we took the kids home and I went to the store. It was such a beautiful day out we thought that while the kids were sleeping, we would go sit in the sun, read our books and drink a few Coronas. We had about 15 minutes of peacefulness until TT decided that her 15 minute nap was enough for her. She put on her bathing suit and played in the pool so we could continue what we were doing.
We really did have a wonderful day until we had to take TT to urgent care after dinner because Kim thought she had croupe again. NO, it was just a cough. She is completely fine.

Looks like you guys were enjoying the warm weather! Our first day of spring break and the high was 23 or so.
Glad you went over to Mom's new place, she sounds happy there and I can't wait to see it and all the rest of you!!
AHHH - I was enjoying your day so much until the urgent care paragraph! I'm glad it's just a cough - and you still got your corona's earlier in the day.
I guess I did over react a little. I was more concerned about her keeping me up all night and thought if I could get her the shot for croup we would be good to go. We should of walked out of urgent care after she was walking around saying hi to everyone.
So glad T.T. is ok, but how dare you drink and relax without me!
Sounds like your off to a good start! You two should come over to my parents and we could have a pool party!
