Pressure to post

As you all know, Kim and I have been coaching softball for the last 10 years. Yes, 10 years!!! Am I really old enough to say that. Last year we decided that it was going to be our last year. Obviously, Kim had a good reason why, she wanted to spend more time with her kids. Me, on the other hand, who has no kids, kind of felt bad leaving. I have many of the softball girls in class and they are constantly asking we why I quit. I really do enjoy spending time and getting to know those girls. The problem was that I didn't want to be at school everyday until 5:00. Because I see them everyday, I kind of thought that I might miss being out there and coaching. Well, I was completely wrong. Today was the first softball game of the season and I had much more fun watching the game with Trevor, Taylor and Kim than I would have coaching. Although I enjoyed being on the outside of the field, it is kind of strange. It is strange watching somebody take over what you have spent so much time working on. Kim and I (and my dad) did things a little different than what is being done now. Neither one is any better than the other, just different. You know how that feels.

On a brighter note, Kim and her kids, Debby, Azure and Jackson came over tonight. We had a great time visiting and drinking wine. I love playing with Trevor and Taylor, but there is nothing better than having a baby around. Jackson is sooo cute and cuddly.

FYI - I am going to a bachelorette party this weekend. I am sure I will have plenty to blog about. All of you moms can live vicariously through me.

Pictures to follow.

I know I say this often but, every mom deserves an auntie Kelly. You are the best and I too enjoy watching it from the outside so much more!!

Kelly, please move down here so you can be my kids Auntie Kelly. They already call you that so it wouldn't be that much of a stretch. Have fun wine tasting, have one or two for me!

Ah, Kim is so nice. My sister's don't say that about me:(

I can't believe it's softball season already! I need to hurry up and catch the fever! I'll have to come out to watch with you when my dad does a game! Now that you don't coach, are beers aloud?:)

Have fun at your bachlorette party this weekend!!

Awww..Kelly. That was sweet of you to say of Jackson. That was my plan: come over, let Jackson win you over, then you can be his Auntie Kelly! Mission accomplished! : )

The best part of your Auntie skills is that you get to say goodnight. Auntie paige is tied for the best but she needs to get her butt over here...

I love the blog. Keep it up!!
