What am I going to do now?

Today all of my classes are taking a quiz, so the first thing that I do is get on the internet and do my usual checks. Work email, personal email, dodgers website (I don't know why), and then I get to my two favorites: blogs and tmz. I start at the top of my list of blogs while I am at work and have come to find that my school district has blocked the blogspot website. I am totally bummed because that is when I get my best reading in. I usually look at these every day between classes, snack, lunch, conference period, and while my student teacher is teaching. After realizing that all of them have been blocked, I go to tmz.com. BLOCKED!!! What is going on? I have 13 days of school left until summer and they have now decided to block these two websites off of my computer. Maybe that is a sign that I visit them too often. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW?

Slumber Party!

TT, me and Trev watching Barney and getting ready for bed.

I had Trevor and Taylor stay the night last night. We are going to San Diego tonight for a Padre game and I wanted Kim to get a good night sleep so she would have fun. Those of you who know Kim know that she would be capable of falling asleep right in her seat at the game tonight. I blame it on Kim, but I haven't had them stay with me overnight in a long time so I thought it was the perfect excuse. We had so much fun and they were so good. TT went to bed at 8:30 and slept until 8:10. Yes, that is almost 12 hours. Trevor slept with me in my bed and we went to bed at 9:00 and slept until 7:00. I didn't sleep all that great because Trevor was practically sleeping on top of me. It may sound like a complaint, but it is not. It was great. I look forward to the next time.

Today we are off to San Diego. We are all very excited. Jeana's uncle got us some great tickets for the game through his work and we are staying at the Omni across the street. I am sure between Jeana, Kim and I, you will see plenty of pictures soon.

FYI to all NKOTB fans!

Since I had so many people tell me that they too were excited about the New Kids on the Block getting back together (probably not as much as me), I thought I should remind you that they are going to be on the Today show tomorrow morning. Set your tivos. I set mine last week. : )

New haircut

This is a picture of my new haircut. (Please disregard the cheesy smile)
I have been wanting to cut my hair short for quite a while but wanted to wait until after the wedding last weekend. I finally did it. I told my hair dresser to cut before I had a chance to change my mind. If you haven't seen me in a while, my hair was the longest it had been in a very long time. I was ready for a change. I am extremely fortunate because my hair grows so fast that I figured if I didn't like it, it would grow back soon. I couldn't believe the amount of hair that was cut. I was going to see if there was enough to donate to Locks of Love but my hair dresser told me that it could not be died. As you can see, it is.

I've been tagged!

The rules:

Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some weird, some random.Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

Since I don't have 7 more people after the other tags, I am going to include people who leave comments on my blog and they have to do a short version in their comments.

1. I absolutely LOVE being an aunt. If you haven't noticed, Trevor and Taylor make me so happy. I never imagined loving two people as much. (In addition to Emily and Ethan, of course)

2. My two best friends are my sister,Kim and Jeana. I can't imagine my life without either one of them.

3. My mom and dad are incredibly important to me. I don't think they realize how much.

4. I really miss my cousins, Dave, Christy, Emily and Ethan.

5. Enough with the sap, I love baseball and most importantly, the Dodgers. I will watch any game that is on t.v. even if it is not the Dodgers.

6. Even though I often complain about it, I really do love being a teacher.

7. I am sooooo excited about the New Kids on the Block getting back together.

Jessica's wedding weekend in Oregon!

The resort we stayed at had a man made pond on the premises with this little platform that was a boat. Yes, a boat. Jeana thought that she was Tom Sawyer and paddled people around on it.

Jessica getting ready before the wedding.

The finished product. She looked absolutely beautiful.

Jeana and I at the wedding.

This was our make shift cooler. The water was so cold that we used the river as an ice chest.

Kevin having breakfast.

This is a view from our porch on the Mackenzie River. I got to wake up to this every morning.

Another view from our porch.

As I posted before, this last weekend was my good friend Jessica's wedding. The wedding was on the Mackenzie River which is about 45 minutes outside of Eugene. We got to Eugene on Thursday and were busy getting everything ready to go to the River on Friday. Friday and Saturday were also extremely busy. We had to take two trips to the resort that we stayed at to get everything there. On Saturday, we were up early setting up at getting ready ourselves for the wedding. It was kind of a whirlwind couple of days.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. I was too busy running around to take too many pictures of the wedding but will try to post some if I get them from Kevin. He was there as the photographer.

After doing some cleaning up on Sunday, we got to sit back and relax the rest of the day. Oh boy, was it wonderful. Monday, we drove back to Eugene and unfortunately, had to go back to work and go back to the real world.

It was such an awesome weekend. We were a little concerned about the weather because it had rained for the entire week before. But it seems like as soon as we got there it cleared up and was perfect. As you can see from the pictures, the place was gorgeous. My pictures don't even come close to explaining the beauty. Thank you Jessica for letting me share such a special day and weekend with you and Dan. Congratulations!
