Off to Oregon!!

Well, after trips to the hair dresser, eyebrow waxer, pedicure, manicure and spray tan, I am finally all ready to go to Eugene, Oregon. My good friend Jessica is getting married this weekend in Oregon (the same bachelorette in Temecula). She is getting married at a resort on the Mackenzie River. It is going to be absolutely beautiful. I am so excited to go on a mini vacation and share this special weekend with her. We are leaving Thursday morning and get home Monday night. I know this sounds weird because they are only my niece and nephew, but I am already sad about not seeing Trevor and TT for that long of a time.
I will have plenty of pictures and stories, I am sure, when I get home.

Dodger Blues!!

This is Jeana imitating the pitching of Hideo Nomo.

Chest, butt, pitch, right Jeana?

Sorry about these pictures. They may not make any sense to anybody but Jeana and I, but I had to post them.

Last night, Jeana, Anthony and I finally made it to our first Dodger game. In the past, we have bought some season tickets from a friend of mine. He did not renew them this year so we are on our own. It sucks because we don't already have set dates to go. It has never taken us this long into the season to go to our first game. I know that it has only been 4 weeks but that is long for us. We had a great time sitting back, relaxing, chatting and drinking a couple of beers. Unfortunately, the Dodgers lost but we still had fun.

My kind of babysitting!

TT and Trevy being perfect angels for their Auntie Kelly.

Kim dropped off the kids this morning so that she could go home and get ready for the day. We played for a little while with my exercise ball and then I gave them a snack and turned on a movie. I know, I know, not the greatest of babysitting moves. This is TT with a bag of Cheetos and Trevor with a bag of Cheez Its. At least they are both 100 calorie packs, right?

I have to go, TT just spilled all of her cheetos in the cracks of the couch and is trying to steal Trevors cheez its.

What a weekend!!

Steph, Jenn and I at dinner for Jenn's birthday.

Steph, Annette, Toni, Jenn and me getting ready to hit up Newport Beach.

Jeana dancing with the entertainers. Notice how red she is.

Kim, Jeana, me and Ang at Duke's for Jeana's birthday brunch.

I know that it has been awhile since my last post, but nothing has been going on. I wanted to save it for something good.

I had a fabulous weekend this past weekend. It all started with dinner for Jeana's birthday on Friday night. Kim, Don, Jeana, Anthony, me and my dad went to Cirivello's to help Jeana celebrate her birthday and watch the Dodger game. We had a great time even though the Padres beat the Dodgers.

On Saturday morning, I started my day off with a massage. My mom has a masseuse come to the house once a month and there was a spot open so of course I took it. Saturday was my friend Jenn's birthday. Jenn is a very close friend of mine who I graduated from high school with. Her mom lives right on the beach in Newport so we started our night at her house and then hit the streets to different places down in Newport.

After staying up way too late on Saturday, or should I say Sunday morning, I was up for brunch at Duke's in Huntington Beach for Jeana's birthday. Angie didn't get to celebrate with Jeana on Friday so we decided to do brunch on Sunday morning. It was such a beautiful day. We sat out on the balcony overlooking Huntington Beach and had a wonderful time chatting and drinking mimosas. It was such a tease for summer vacation. We could have sat there all day, which we pretty much did.

After brunch, our family came over along with Jeana and Anthony and the girls for a bbq. We had fun visiting with everybody and getting a chance to be with baby Addison. She is so darn cute. Then, unfortunately, I was up this morning and back at work.

Does it get any better than that?

NKOTB!!!

About a month ago, I saw an article in People magazine about New Kids on the Block getting back together. I ended up going to their website and getting on a mailing list. Yes, I know that I am 30. I got an email the other day that said they were going to be on the Today show today so I took the day off to watch it. Not really, TT is sick so I offered to stay home with her today.

I don't know if any of you remember what a freak I was about them when I was younger. My room was wallpapered from ceiling to floor with posters of them. I knew every word of every song and the dance steps to go along with them. I was convinced that I was going to marry Donnie Wahlberg.

Well, on the Today show they announced that they were indeed getting back together and putting out an album and most importantly, going on tour. Yes!! It was so funny to watch them today because there were hundreds of girls my age with their shirts, books, dolls, pins, etc. and I was so jealous. They are going to perform on the Today show May 16 and a tour will follow. Mark your calendar. I will.

P.S. Kim and I are in for the concert. Anybody else?

P.P.S. Does anybody know if Donnie Wahlberg is still single? I want to keep my options open : )
