You got me!!

I can't believe that you did this to me. I started reading Twilight yesterday and could hardly put it down. I can't wait to get home after school and continue to read. I was so hesitant about reading this series because I am not much into stories relating to vampires. Kim, Angie, Paige and Jessica, thanks alot. I woke up twice in the middle of the night last night and almost started reading again. As I am teaching math today, I am wondering how Edward is doing. WHAT? I feel like a teenager again. It is ridiculous. To top it, I looked at Angie's blog today and saw what Edward is going to look like in the movie. I was so disappointed, I didn't want to picture him because I knew it would ruin it. Edward is way better than that.

I'm back.....summer recap!
I'm back to blogging. I truly am the worst blogger ever. I have no kids and am off for the summer and have blogged twice. I will try to be better. Not that it is a great excuse but my camera broke on my first trip so didn't get to take too many pictures since.
I have had a very fun filled summer. This is the first time that I have not worked summer school so I tried to take advantage and I think I did. The last time I left I blogged about going to see my cousins in St. Louis and then New Hampshire. We had such a great time. Here are some pictures from that trip.
While in St. Louis, we had some time in between Ethan's game to go and visit the arch. I have been to St. Louis with Jeana to go see the Cardinals play but never made it to the arch. It was so amazing. I am extremely happy that we had a chance to go up to the top. Christy is afraid of heights so waited at the bottom for me, Emily and Ethan.
This is a picture of us before we went up.

For anybody who has never been to the top, to get there you have to ride in a little 5 person bubble with no windows. It is extremely small and takes 4 minutes to get up. I am a little claustrophobic so had to take some deep breaths on the way up. It was definitely worth it. This is the door you went through to get in. Yes, it was really that small. You have to duck under to get in. I thought that I was a part of Alice in Wonderland.

This is us crammed in the bubble. You can't see, but there are two people across from Ethan and I touching our knees.

This is us at the top. You can see behind Emily that they are very tiny windows you look out. You had to lean on a ledge to see the window. It was pretty scary because you felt like the arch was going to fall over.

On our way to New Hampshire, Christy had the idea of stopping at Niagara Falls. It was only about 30 minutes off the highway. I figured that we had to do it because I don't know if I will ever be back there. I was so thankful that she had the idea because it was absolutely amazing. If you ever have a chance to go there, I highly suggest that you do. These pictures don't do justice.

We decided to take a boat that goes between the falls. As we were getting on, they give us ponchos to wear. This is what you look like when you don't wear your ponchos right. Ethan and Emily were soaked.

This is a picture of us right when we got on the boat. Notice how dry we are.

This is the point in the summer where my camera broke so I don't have anymore pictures of the trip. When we got back to the Shultz's house in New Hampshire, we took a day trip to Boston. We rode on one of those trollies that takes you all around the city. It was a great day.

The rest of the summer was kind of a blur. It felt like we were going and going. If you read my sisters blog, you pretty much know alot of what my summer looked like with family.
These last few pictures are of last weekend. I borrowed my moms camera to take them. Me and some friends from high school went to Casino Morongo for the weekend. We had a blast. This is a picture of us getting ready to got out for the night.

Off to St. Louis and New Hampshire!
Today I am leaving to meet my cousins, Christy, Emily and Ethan in St. Louis. Ethan is in a baseball tournament there. I am flying there for a couple of days and then we will be driving back to their house in New Hampshire (20 hours, Yuck!). It will be a long drive but I will be with them so it will be fun. We are used to seeing them about 5 or 6 times a year, but since they moved across the country it has gone down. I haven't seen Em or E since Christmas. I am so excited to see everybody. After a few days in New Hampshire, I am bringing them all back with me to stay for a few weeks. YEAH!!
On a sadder note, I am going to be gone for one week which means I won't see Trev or TT for that long. I think this will be the longest I have gone. I know, kind of weird. I had Trevor spend the night with me last night so I could get my last fix before he has to go to school today. After I drop him off, I am going to go and get my TT fix.
Since Jeana and Kim are not going with me, I will take lots of pictures to post when I get home.

Happy 4th of July!

I hope all of you had a great 4th of July. I did! It started in the morning with my friend Kaycee's annual pancake breakfast. She started this tradition about five years ago and it is so nice. She cooks breakfast for about 50 people who come and go throughout the morning. For those of you who have never met my friend Kaycee, believe it or not, she loves this kind of stuff. She is an entertainer and a great one at that. Kim and Jeana and the kids came over as well. They thought it would be fun for the kids to do something different and have a new set of toys to play with. As you can see, they also had fun. The only problem was that it was sooo hot. Every single person was dripping sweat because of the humidity.
After we ate breakfast and had mimosas, of course, we left and went over to Kim and Dons. They had a few people over for a bbq. Don cooked some excellent hamburgers and we enjoyed great food and even better company. I didn't take any pictures of Kim's because everybody else did so I am sure you will see those pictures on other blogs. Later in the night, me, my mom, dad, Kim, Don, Marilyn and the kids drove to Vet Stadium and hung out in the back of the truck to watch the firework show. It was fun watching the reactions on Trevor and TT face.
4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays and this year was no exception.

Stone Temple Pilots Concert

Last night, Jeana, Anthony, Don and I had tickets to the Stone Temple Pilots. We also met up with my friends Mike and Toni. I have been a Stone Temple Pilots fan it seems like forever. I was so bummed when they broke up a few years ago. As you can see, they got back together and went out on tour. I was so excited and couldn't wait to go to the concert. They are getting a little older so I was concerned about them not sounding great. I was completely wrong. It was awesome. They played all of the good songs and sounded like they did years ago when I saw them for the first time.
The concert was at the Hollywood Bowl. I have heard alot about the Hollywood Bowl but have never been there. It was great. The best thing about it is that they have a shuttle that picks us up at the Lakewood Mall and takes you there. $5 roundtrip. When we got there, I was shocked to see all the people picknicking. Here we were trying to hide our beer in a backpack and everybody else there was walking around with their beer bottles and wine bottles open tailgaiting in the area outside. I couldn't believe it. Next time, I will come a little more prepared.
Those of you going to see Neil Diamond in September, we are going to have so much fun.
